10 Statements of Your Authority in Christ

Written by Dorina Betz

Many times we often long to DO something when we are on outreach. We care so much about the ministries we establish, the activities we organize or the projects we conduct. However in the past weeks, when ministries were on hold and activities couldn’t take place, I learned that outreach is much more about who we are in Christ than what about we can “do”.
Here are 10 statements you can declare over yourself to remind you of the position you have in this world through Christ.

1.) It’s no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me (Galatians 2:20).
2.) The spirit inside of me is more powerful than the one who rules the world (1.John 4:4).
3.) God’s fullness dwells in me (Colossians 2:9).
4.) I am equipped with the full amor of God (Ephesians 6).
5.) Because the Holy Spirit is living through me, wherever I walk the ground under my feet will be healed (1.Corinthians 3:16).
6.) Jesus has chosen and appointed me to go and bear fruit that will last (John 15:16).
7.) In all these things I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me (Romans 8:37).
8.) By faith I can conquer kingdoms, administer justice and gain what God has promised (Hebrews 11:33).
9.) Jesus has given me authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
10.) I am an ambassador of Christ and God is using me to speak through me (2.Corinthians 5:20).

God has given you authority to raise your voice. To demand ceaselessly for truth and justice. Authority to change the atmosphere and to proclaim the victory you have experienced in your own life through Jesus in your mission field. Do not walk away from the authority God has given you. He has given you a voice. He has anointed you. He has sent you out. And even though ministries and projects might have come to a halt, God’s mission with you cannot be stopped.
