It may look like I’m surrounded but I’m surrounded by you.
Sometimes in our situations in life it might look like there’s no way out. Like we are only surrounded by troubles. Like we are pressed hard by difficulties and chaos. But we’ve got something more powerful than the problems standing in our way. We’ve got this powerful weapon called Prayer& Worship. And when we are surrounded by trials and hardships, difficulties and challenges, pain and hopelessness we look up, fix our eyes on Jesus and realize that HE IS HERE. It may look like we’re surrounded but we’re SURROUNDED BY HIM. This is how we fight our battles.
“I am a wounded soldier,
But I will not leave the fight,
Because the great physician is healing me!
So I’m standin’ in the battle,
In the armor of His light,
Because His mighty power is real in me!”
-Danny Daniels-
In this life we stand in the middle of the battle field. For sure, we will get hurt, we will struggle, we will doubt, we will feel like just giving up. We cannot escape pain and as long as we are on earth we cannot flee from chaos and tragedy. But: We know what is beyond. In the midst of the battle we can already see the victory. The victory Jesus gained long ago.
“But despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.” -Romans 8:37-
Everybody wants to see victories but nobody wants to go out there and fight. Battles and victories always go hand in hand. They belong to each other. There are no victories without battles and no battles without injuries, wounds and scars. If you wanna have victory you gotta dare to fight.
Keep your head up. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.
Before God we already stand in His victory. This is how He sees us. This is how He looks at our situations. This is His perspective. He knows who we are in Jesus. The question is: Do you know it? How often do we use this powerful truth and proclaim God’s victory over every part of our lives?
