“We are united. We stand as one in your love. Jesus, the whole world’s shaking but you won’t give us up.
We are united. We stand as one in your love. Jesus, we’re holding on cause the best is yet to come.”
∼United- Andi Ziller∼
God has called us to unity. Especially in times like these, when the world’s shaking, when many people don’t know anything about Jesus, when wars and conflicts are going on all around the world, when discrimination, corruption, exploitation and criminality takes place daily and everywhere, it is important that we stand as one body of Christ representing our Father in heaven.
»We are all parts of one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future. For us there is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and we all have the same God and Father who is over us all and in us all, and living through every part of us. However, Christ has given each of us special abilities—whatever he wants us to have out of his rich storehouse of gifts.« -Ephesians 4:4-7-
We are ONE: ONE Spirit. Called to ONE future. We have ONE Lord. ONE faith. ONE baptism. ONE God and Father.
We are ONE and yet not the same and that’s good. God loves diversity. And he gave each one of us different abilites but only for ONE cause:
To use it for HIS glory.
I wonder how this world looked like if we all stood back a little and gave our ONE God and Father the central role . How it would be if we didn’t turn around our own matters, ideas and wishes but chase God’s dream for our lives, our churches, our communities, our ministries and our world. Cause in all of this it’s not about us, it’s about God.
And HIS heart is beating for unity. We are called to be ONE.
